We spent a week in mid Wales over summer in a beautiful eco-home, lovingly crafted from natural materials. As the name suggests, Wild Meadow, is situated in the centre of an idyllic meadow, on the Welsh/English border, near the small town of Presteigne. This heavenly spot was created by owners Andrea and Jonathan who transformed a former meadow into a stunning holiday destination.

One of my favourite times of the day at Wild Meadow was the hour or so before sunset when a beautiful golden light illuminated the meadow.

I loved photographing the attention to detail, including jugs and vases filled with seasonal flowers and sprigs from the garden that Andrea had thoughtfully positioned around the place.

The cottage is just one part of Wild Meadow. There's also a rustic shepherd's hut situated at the top of the meadow, which is the most gorgeous home on wheels - perfect to escape to for a few carefree days of unwinding.
